Period country house kitchen in Boughton

The owners of this beautiful period country house wanted to create a bright, light and airy kitchen that blended with the period style of their family home. The kitchen is a focal point of the home and the owners wanted to keep their existing island and dresser creating an 'unfitted' look. The resulting kitchen is bright, light and full of understated style and elegant simplicity. The units are a simple white shaker style topped with a natural granite worktop. The granite has some natural lime green elements which matches perfectly with the owners vintage china collection. A false chimney was created around the range cooker to create a traditional focal point which is highlighted by the mirror splashbacks.
