One key requirement was to maintain the ambience of the original, which they did - while modernising the elements that needed it. “Kasawoo helped us to transform a plain commercial building unit into a multipurpose private office and entertainment space. Through the design of the 1.5 floor layout and inclusion of clever storage partitions, we were enabled to fully utilize the modest floor space. All sections of the unit remain bright and airy, as the overall layout respects the natural lightning from the original windows.. Needless to say, service was friendly and professional!”

“We used Inclume to help redesign our house and to come up with ideas for extending it. They came up with some really good options and architectural design that pushed our initial thoughts forward. We also wanted more storage for the kids and they came up with a bespoke sliding folding storage partition which really helps to separate and hide all the clutter when required. It was just the type of contemporary design and feel that we were looking for in our home. We are very glad we got them involved and would recommend to anyone who is looking for the same.”

“Hello Matt Plummer was our architect for a complete renovation of our terrace house in Ely. It was an ambitious project and Matt was there to give professional advice on planning and to make suggestions about how we could achieve what we wanted for this dark, akward space. In addition he provided us with creative, beautiful solutions to the problems that this rather rundown house presented. He drew up detailed plans for us and was always on hand to advise us and our builders. He ensured that planning applications were applied for and that inspections were carried out appropriately. He sourced materials for us, adapted plans and was endlessly patient and professional in guiding us through this major project. He was absolutely reliable and honest in his dealings with us and very pleasant to work with. “After a robust search for an architectural practice that could design my new home I chose Cambridge-based APA. I was drawn by their beautiful designs, a track record of designing for the client (not themselves) and because we 'clicked' on first meeting. This shouldn't be underestimated - a successful project starts and ends with a good client-professional relationship. Whilst navigating a challenging planning process, APA presented me with several original, high-quality designs that were sensitive to the site whilst delivering everything I'd requested (and far more besides). I really did love every concept - a great problem to have! Led by Emma Parkes and Jeremy Ashworth, APA's growing team was always inspiring and patient when discussing ideas and sharing their considerable knowledge. They managed third-party contacts with equal professionalism and interpreted clearly and calmly what was, at times, confusing feedback.
