“After a frustrating couple of years having several planning applications rejected we sought advice from the person who lived in a contemporary house we had often admired. It turned out that this was Matthew Wintersgill of W & M Architects. He went on to analyse the reasons why our applications had failed and we immediately felt he understood our requirements and how to have the design accepted by the local planning authorities. We therefore asked Matthew to design our house and he fortunately agreed. On completion we immediately won the Civic Society award and we remain delighted with the light, airy, low energy spaces that Matthew has created and considerate ourselves very fortunate to live in such a beautiful house.”

“Spatial Design Architects designed, and project managed our full refurbishment and enlargement of our 1950's chalet style house. We required 3 areas of the house to be designed, an en-suite extension to the existing master bedroom, study and play room space and increasing the size of our lounge whilst adding a further bedroom. We required a design that was different and we are thrilled with the contemporary design, flow of the space and connection with the garden, that allows us to enjoy every part of our home for many years to come. An extremely helpful and professional team throughout the process, I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you, Spatial Design Architects.”

“We really needed more space for our 2 boys and our existing conservatory area wasnt really working for us. Glenn came to us on recommendation and has been a pleasure to work with. Glenn totally understood what we needed and came up with some really good ideas and various design options. He explained clearly how the whole process worked and really took on total responsibility so we did not need to worry about anything. Now we will have an amazing new house with large open plan Kitchen Diner and Island unit we always dreamed of. Our boys not only have their own En-suites but now have the entire loft area for games and cinema room when their friends come round meaning the rest of the house is free from clutter. If you want to extend your house and actually quite enjoy the process - Glenn is the guy to use. He really cares in getting it absolutely perfect for you and making sure he gets the best he can for the budget you have.”

“Miriam has been a brilliant architect for us. We hired her to design a 3 bed, 2 storey extension. We thought we already knew what we wanted in terms of layout and look, but she came back with a number of really exciting ideas that transformed our fairly mundane ideas into really exciting, but affordable designs. We had a number of difficulties with planning, none of them Miriam's fault, causing her to have to revise key details without losing the essence of what we wanted (lots of light and space). She was really succesful and we're really pleased with the outcome. We were very naive about the whole building process before starting the project and Miriam has held our hands throughout and been a fantastic support.”
