“We had a particularly difficult experience engaging someone to take our project forward. We spent a lot of time interviewing various companies and went forward with someone who unfortunately, proved to be disastrous. We'd all but given up on the project, until I contacted local Architects, Helyer Davies. From the outset, their approach was completely different. Our first meeting was at the property, on one of those rare occasions when snow brings everything and everyone to slithery halt and all appointments are cancelled. Martin Helyer, simply said...'don't worry, I've got the laptop...I'll walk.' From then on we enjoyed, for the first time in two years, the process of realising our dream home. A fresh set of eyes and new approach, meant that we have ended up with a superb house that really is a joy to live in, rather than just exist in. Good design elevates the ordinary, and that's exactly what we now have and enjoy every day. We found the meetings to be clear and informative. HD were prepared to listen and adapt. The road to getting planning was still fraught with difficulties but ultimately, was secured after they asked the Local Authority for a meeting and presented the proposals to them, in person. Without this initiative we'd still be waiting and doubtless, disappointed. Huge thanks to the Team in Emsworth for all their hard work.”

“I had an idea in my head of the extension I wanted for my house but no idea of how to organise anything to make it happen. Ralph was recommended by a friend and gently led me through the process. Ralph organised the surveyor, made lots of constructive suggestions, produced excellent drawings and very quickly secured planning permission for me. There was little for me to do except decide what design I wanted. Ralph Kent is a brilliant architect but it is all the product ideas he comes up with and his organising skills that get the job done.”

“Very professional service. Listened to what you wanted but able to give excellent advice. The drawings submitted were of high quality and builders were able to work from them and get the job done. Deadlines were met good value for money spent. Highly recommended.”
