“Sew stylish designs...Susan Berry... was professional, creative and produced an all together delightful experience and a beautiful finished project. When Susan came in my home, I had an idea of what I wanted, but since I didn't see it being shown anywhere, Susan drew it and created it from scratch. The results were exactly what I had imagined in my mind's eye, reasonable and totally custom. By the way, Sue created pillows to match the drapes...a personal and lovely accessory. “It took me 18 months to find the perfect blinds for my windows. I was very particular to what I wanted and didn't want. Mr. Cohen listened to what I needed, what I was looking and what I was not looking for. I didn't feel that he was pushy and just trying to sell me any product. Mr. Cohen was conscious and respectful of our budget. In the end, he consulted me to the perfect product (sheer motorized shades) and found the best deal. We ended up getting beautiful cellular shades for my daughters room AND the sheer shades for the living and dining room within our budget. The blinds arrived and have been installed. They are absolutely fabulous. Exactly what I was looking for. They provide then privacy I want, let in enough light and do not take away from my window space when retraced. Several neighbors and friends have been commented how beautiful the blinds are. Thank you for a great experience.”

“We ordered drapes from Smith & Noble for our living room and honey comb blinds and valence for our family room. We are very happy with the service of the design Consultant (Faith Baker), the installer and quality and workmanship of the products. During the design phase, Faith was very prompt in responding to all my queries. She provided a good selection of fabric and helped to pick the perfect color for the drapes and valence. Her Knowledge of the product was great. Her service was awesome. The products were delivered before time and the installer also arrived promptly to install the curtains. Everything was great, the only concern I had was without any coupons the price was little high. I love the new look of my loving and Family room. I highly recommend Smith & Noble.”

“Tintco tinted the casement windows on my home. The tint is a very light shade, and the windows do not appear to be tinted when viewing them either from the outside or from the inside. The work was performed in a very professional manner, with no residual mess throughout the inside of my home. This is the second time in 30 years that I have had my windows tinted. The window tinting has eliminated fading of carpets and furniture, and cut down on cooling costs during the summer months.”

When choosing curtains, consider their function, whether for privacy, light blocking, or decor enhancement. Take into account the room’s style, choosing curtains that complement the overall decor in terms of colour, pattern, and fabric texture. Measure the window accurately to ensure the curtains are the right size and length, considering whether you prefer floor-length or sill-length curtains. Select curtain fabrics based on light-blocking abilities, durability, and ease of cleaning.
In general, your curtains width should be double the width of your windows. For length, this depends on if you want floor length, sill length curtains or below sill. For sill length curtains, they should sit 1cm above the windowsill. Below length curtains generally sit around 15cm under the sill. For floor length curtains, ensure there is at least a 1cm gap between them and the floor. If your window has a radiator underneath it, the curtains should stop around 2-3cm above the radiator to avoid heat being absorbed by the curtain.
Simply measure from where you want your blinds to start (the rail), to where you want your blinds to finish. Add 10-15 cms to this to prevent light bleed. To ensure your blinds fit correctly, take measurements at 3 equal points across your window and use the longest size.
