“The process of ordering our shutters was completed in a timely way. Jan provided us with a variety of options and guidance as requested. She genuinely cared about our specific needs. She has a great deal of expertise in the are of window coverings and I trust her judgment. The shutters are gorgeous and completely change the look of our home for the positive. The installers were courteous and professional. They did not leave until we had reviewed all their work. Jan was also present during portions of the installation. Her guidance was extremely helpful. “I moved in our new home and had no window treatments. I knew I wanted curtains and shades but had no idea where to start. I didn't want something " off the shelf". I met Sandy in a fabric shop while I was looking at fabrics. She offered to do my curtains. I not only got curtains and shades but I also got a consultant that made NUMEROUS trips to my home with sample books trying to help me with a solution. We did one room at a time and it all turned out beautifully! Turnkey! Consultant, materials (including fabric, shades, rods) and installation all taken care of. What a relief! I would highly recommend Decorator's Delight!”

Measure the window accurately to ensure the curtains are the right size and length, considering whether you prefer floor-length or sill-length curtains. Select curtain fabrics based on light-blocking abilities, durability, and ease of cleaning.
In general, your curtains width should be double the width of your windows. For length, this depends on if you want floor length, sill length curtains or below sill. For sill length curtains, they should sit 1cm above the windowsill. Below length curtains generally sit around 15cm under the sill. For floor length curtains, ensure there is at least a 1cm gap between them and the floor. If your window has a radiator underneath it, the curtains should stop around 2-3cm above the radiator to avoid heat being absorbed by the curtain.
