“I approached Leigh initially for advice and inspiration for a dull and gloomy hallway. She quickly made suggestions for some beautiful console tables, statement mirror and amazing copper lighting. The copper lighting really lifted the whole area and showed off my attic flooring to its best. I was so impressed I asked her to redesign an ensuite bathroom for the guest bedroom. It is now modern, practical and stylish. Some really interesting and different thing that I would never have thought of by myself. The work was completed quickly and to a high standard with no mess or convenience to us. Top class job and looking forward to commissioning another new bathroom soon.”

“Having never used an interior designer I didn’t know what to expect but I am delighted I invited Daisy to give me some ideas. Daisy combined everyone’s wishes and must haves for the two rooms with her vision and expertise and created a comfortable bedroom and a functional office. Daisy was easy to communicate with and gave alternative ideas to choose from. Everything was easy to visualise as she created computer generated 3D designs. Most importantly Daisy works within a budget but doesn’t skimp on design.”

“Nine Lives and Philippa were wonderful at making my house feel more like a home. We did not live in all of our rooms downstairs as we were not sure how to use them. Philippa came and quickly worked out the best use of space to allow flow in our home. She is great at picking out colours and textures and finds material and wallpaper that I would never have been able to contemplate. “I utilised Caroline’s two hour consultation service (£95) as I desperately needed some advice and ideas for my neglected 1930s hallway. As I don’t live locally, I gave Caroline some ideas and photos via text message about what I liked and didn’t like, my preferred colour palate, and what my priorities were. After some questions from Caroline and some very useful exercises looking at existing spaces and colours, and how we used the hall, she offered some simple solutions which were easily implemented. Simple things like changing the positioning of the existing lighting made a dramatic difference. Caroline then compiled a mood board for me on Pinterest with ideas for paint colours, storage solutions and suggestions for light fittings. She also made recommendations on how I could achieve a modern and coordinated hall that tied in with the existing 1930s features, yet wasn’t overly ‘matchy’. This was complemented with detailed information about sourcing items and recommending paint finishes. Caroline very cleverly sketched her ideas onto my original photo to give me an idea of what my hall could look like. This was really invaluable in helping me ‘see’ my new hall before I started work. I felt that Caroline very quickly ‘got’ what I was after. She was really friendly & approachable, responsive and offered really helpful, practical and straightforward suggestions. She didn’t impose her own tastes and encouraged me to develop my own. Initially I felt that I didn’t really know what I wanted but after conversations with Caroline, I began to gain confidence. I cannot recommend Caroline’s service highly enough. She was great fun to work with and the entire process was really enjoyable.”

“Emilie was brilliant. She did a complete renovation of my Victorian terrace, upstairs and down, including kitchen extension and reviving some original features that had been stripped away. She took my (attempts at explaining) my style and turned it into an actual vision. She gave me solutions to using the space which I had been defeated by and saved me a lot of money on bad furniture decisions. The contractors Emilie brought in were great too. A friendly, hard working team I came to know and like well. Before she got to work, I basically regretted buying my house. The house had so many issues and we didn't have a lot of room in the budget, but she delivered a home I never want to leave. “Mia and her team did a fantastic job with a makeover of my home, which included choosing, sourcing and installing furniture, carpets, cushions, throws and other items for a two bedroom flat. I really felt Mia "got me" in terms of what I would like and made excellent, stylish suggestions that I could never have come up with on my own - yet my friends say my home is now "very me" and do not realise I had help until I tell them! Mia has a great eye for what will look cool but is very pragmatic - while she suggested some more expensive "investment" pieces of furniture she kept in mind that I would want to use them in my next property and she often suggested highly affordable items, including ones I sourced myself. She knows the product ranges of many suppliers in great detail and has close relationships with many of then. She also had some cushions, throws and carpets made from scratch which I now love because they are both beautiful and totally unique. She was very fun to work with and together with her team kept the wheels rolling very smoothly, receiving furniture on my behalf and dealing with any supplier issues immediately. I can't recommend her highly enough and look forward to working with her next time I move.”
