“Elen designed a plan for a small plot that was effective at utilizing the existing plants, giving a simple and elegant finish to a previously haphazard garden. in addition, the planting plan she provided solved the problem of a very difficult water logged clay soil. She is full of knowledge and methodical in her approach.”

“Catherine did a great job from beginning to end. I needed to completely change the back and front gardens. She had great ideas on what would work and what would not, how to deliver the look I wanted and how to keep it within budget. I couldn't be more happy with the results. Both gardens look great - the neighbours have all commented on the front garden. She worked well with the builder who did the landscaping. She's also been happy to replace a plant that died and fix an irrigation pipe someone else broke. I cant believe how many plants I have. Given the money available for plants, I expected a small number of small plants, but the garden is full of lovely plants and it looks well established after only 3 months. Every few weeks some new plants come into flower so I think there is a good mix of plants to have flowers most of the year. I would happily recommend Catherine Rampton.”

“We had a fantastic experience working with Jane Ashley. She was professional, transparent on pricing, truly collaborative, and really listened to what we were hoping to achieve. Our small urban garden has been transformed into a secluded, lush haven in a matter of weeks. We were beginners in the garden but Jane never made us feel patronised or out of our depth. Her enthusiasm was contagious and we really love our new garden!”

“I used Simpy Garden Design a few years ago to completely overhaul a very unloved large patio and surrounding borders. Katie is full of inspiration and ideas and created a beautiful area that has great atmosphere...something I would not have felt possible given how unpromising it was before. She is professional, reliable and really listens to what you want, there is no homogeneous, "one size fits all" approach with Katie! I can also say that the patio only gets better with age! Thank you Katie !”

“We have employed the services of Luke from Roeder Landscapes over the past two years in planting up new beds, a small orchard and for lawn maintenance We are very happy with the results. His designs took full consideration of our ideas and built on these with further options taking into account soil conditions and aspect. Great attention was paid to bed preparation prior to planting which ensured the best growing conditions. Work was carried out efficiently with the minimum of fuss. He is now in the process of planting a wild flower meadow for us.”

“Love my garden makeover! Transformed a dull square laid to lawn plot into an oasis of calm. “PC Landscapes have been amazing dealing with our garden. We have undertaken a huge project with approximately 3 acres of land that needs absolutely everything. “My wife and I were looking for a Landscape Designer/Architect who could make imaginative suggestions for extensive hard landscaping, as well as planting, etc. Having already interviewed numerous other firms (who evidently oversold their services on their web-sites and did not seem sure at all of designing hard landscapes) James was professional and installed confidence that he would interpret our brief with his own ideas. We commissioned the design stage of the works, and after receiving a preliminary design, we had a couple of meetings to develop the design, and now we have a superb masterplan for our gardens, paved/planter areas, planting plan and budget costings, which is exactly what we wanted. We are going to phase the works and have an accurate final costing from Designscape (and await a price from another to compare costs.).”

“An initial consultation with Eve very quickly resulted in us hiring her to design and plant our garden. The brief was to turn what was a somewhat non-child friendly garden into a space that could be enjoyed by children and adults alike. The end product surpassed all our expectations. In order to fanalise the look and feel of the garden, Eve produced and presented a detailed design and planting portfolio. Eve visited the site whilst the work was being carried out and was always on hand to answer any queries. Eve’s clever and insightful design means we have a garden that is robust enough to withstand the children playing endless games of football but also with space for us to sit, relax and enjoy the beautiful plants and flowers. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are delighted with our family garden.”
