i wanted someone who could handle my project of building a downstairs toilet from beginning to end. Throughout the process Les and his team were always on time and worked long hours. We had several hiccups( non of which was their fault) but they kept me informed at all times. His workers were always polite and willing to go the extra mile eg. They made me a plaque with my house number to go on the outside and put a new Hanging basket up for me , among other things. Les came round to inspect the work frequently and to make sure that I was happy with the standard of work. I totally recommend them.

We used Blueprint to help us design a garage conversation with kitchen move. Unfortunately we decided to move house before we started the work. The team at Blueprint were brilliant from the start as we had no idea what to expect, they kept us calm and involved through the design process. They were always professional and always went above and beyond. We would certainly use them again.

Tom was highly recommended to me by a friend who works as a surveyor and he was extremely professional and friendly when we contacted him. He came out and surveyed the project for a two storey extension. He proposed a coupe of ideas very quickly and completed the drawings and pre-planning app within a week. Extremely pleased with the work and rates.

Professional, organised, company! Did a fantastic job of generating ideas and drawing up the plans for an extention on my property. Listened to my requirements and incorpoarted plans to the best accomodate my requirements. This simply would not have been possible without Building Tectonics! Successfully obtained planning permission for desired 2 storey house extension, to the front of my property. Great job!
Plus Rooms
House Extensions in Luton, Bedfordshire
Average rating: 4 out of 5 stars12 May 2015
Living through a kitchen extension on a terraced London house isn't fun. We both work full-time and have two children at school so returning at the end of each day to the property once works had commenced could be a little stressful; but PlusRooms protected our downstairs areas, created a temporary kitchen for us and were really considerate of the fact we were living through the works. They project managed the whole thing right from design, costing, adjustments, planning, build scheduling, (prompting us what to buy and when), right through the build - and we couldn't be more delighted with our new space. Living through building works is unpleasant but was made less so with Robbie and James' support and professionalism. We had the odd snagging that needed resolving at the end of the job, which you would always expect, so we are more than happy to recommend PlusRooms and may be using them again next year!

We were reccomended by a friend for whom Michael designed a holiday home in the South of France, which we were invited to and absolutely loved. We subsequently asked him and his colleagues to look at our house in London, which he redesigned beautifully. If we ever buy a holiday home, we will definitely call on him. Highly reccomended professional!
Amberth
House Extensions in Luton, Bedfordshire
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars4 June 2014
Amberth provide talent, creativity and attention to detail from project conception through to design, construction and completion. They renovated our new house for us last year, a Georgian town house. We wanted to retain the traditional feel of the house and the original features where possible but we also wanted to create modern living spaces, particularly in our kitchen/basement. The team at Amberth listened to our ideas and the designer visited the property we were living in at the time to get a good feel for our style and how we use space. They created a design, which really focused on maximising the use of the space available, and it’s livability, but didn’t compromise on style. The designer worked with us to create concepts for every room; they really do leave no stone unturned and they get on with things, addressing any issues they come across methodically and efficiently. They take pride in their work and the quality of finishes of our tiled floors, cornices, and restored living room doors and shutters is of the highest standard. We are delighted with our new home and have had no hesitation in recommending Amberth to friends and family.
Trevor Brown Architects
House Extensions in Luton, Bedfordshire
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars6 July 2016
We hired Trevor as our architect to oversee our whole project from concept, planning, detailed design and project management - it was the best decision we made! The main focus of the project was a side return and ground floor extension with a reconfiguration of the downstairs living space and also the upstairs bathrooms to offer an en-suite to our back bedroom and a new gorgeous family bathroom. We commenced work with Trevor in January 2015 and as soon as we met and conveyed our vision and wishes, we felt that he grasped it straight away, He understood the needs of a young working family in London and the way we wanted to live and more than anything he wanted to open up our house and maximise the light into our North facing house. My essential list included a utility room, downstairs toilet and cloakroom whilst opening up and offering a large kitchen/diner/living space. Trevor designed all the functional spaces to be positioned in the middle of the house (the darkest area) and whilst we were nervous about losing a room we trusted him and it has transformed the house as basically a dark unused room is now 3 very practical and beautiful areas. Trevor also understood my obsession for storage and magically worked this into every possible area of the brief, including a clever computer cupboard/office in the kitchen area. Throughout every stage of the project Trevor was patient, a good listener and enthusiastic, however he also challenged and questioned some of our requests and stood firm on some design ideas which his expertise allowed. We felt that Trevor was much more than just an architect as he also helped tremendously with the interior design and sourcing the finishes from the radiators, work surfaces and bathroom tiles. We worked incredibly well together and it was great to have someone to bounce ideas off. Trevor also helped us recruit our builder who was brilliant and the two of them had a very positive relationship and he implemented and managed the building contract. Trevor's disposition is very calm and measured and so any small issues or problems that arose were dealt with in a constructive and managed way. Considering the size and budget of the build there was very little stress involved. Trevor was very considerate about our neighbours and helped us keep them informed with the party wall notices/planning and other legalities. As both my husband and I work full-time, Trevor was willing to conduct some evening and early morning meetings which was incredibly helpful and all meetings were very productive with a clear agenda and subsequent action list. The budget was constantly kept in mind and reviewed and we were able to maintain the original budget. Initial discussions started in January 2015, followed by design, planning and ongoing design and construction began in mid-October 2015 and we moved back in March 2016 with some finishing off continuing into April. We are absolutely thrilled with our project and it has transformed the way we live and use our home. There are so many aspects that we would not have thought about had we not used Trevor, the use of space is so well balanced and the design details were a real partnership between client and architect, which is a joy. Trevor's attention to detail and standards matched ours so it was a very successful working relationship. I would not hesitate in recommending Trevor and his services and can only thank him for enabling us to achieve and live in such a stunning house.
