Anyone heard of/have experience with Ponnighaus/ Poennighaus kitchens?

We've just had an initial visit from a buking/ renovations company who also supply and fit Ponnighaus kitchens (a German brand). I can't find much on them online, does anyone have experience or know how they fare against Schuller kitchens (which we can also get from an independent locally). Thanks

Alas there are several- one early on in married life, my first meal for mother in law and sister in law and husband, I put 2 oz of salt in fruit flan for dessert, instead of 2 oz of sugar! Everyone was very polite and said nothing until I did, then they all agreed it was awful and we had cheese and biscuits and chocolates instead. When cooking for other relatives of my husbands, a bit of metal evidently fell off the hand whisk into the dessert and, (fortunately) I got the biggest piece in a mouth fall, breaking a tooth off completely! We once appeared at a new neighbors for a meal a week early, dressed to the nines with a bottle of wine, a week early (they looked utterly confused but invited us in and we had a takeaway instead amid much laughter). Likewise, we went to a work colleague of my husbands, and his wife with the usual bottle of wine etc. Unfortunately they turned out to be deeply religious, totally against alcohol of any sort and spent the entire evening trying to convert us from our heathen life and preaching hell fire at us.

Hi Vausian I have been a kitchen designer for more than 20 years and most of the kitchens we do are quite large and therefor often have an island. So we are very used to kitchens with hobs in islands and the importance of good extraction in this situation. The only solution we have recommended for the past 4 or 5 years is 'cooktop extraction' from Bora. They uniquely look at the hob and extraction system 'as one' and make the best extraction systems by far. They are also very discrete, relatively simple to design into a kitchen and install. I would recommend, without qualification, a Dan-Wood home. I had one built and after completion of the foundation to the Dan -Wood requirements, the first lorry from Poland, plus troops. arrived at 0700 hrs on the Monday. I moved into the fully completed eco house six weeks and three days later. All the builders were trained in the factory and worked quietly and consistently. As the build developed the trades changed to the building needs, electrical, plumbing, roofing etc. The first lorry had the downstairs sections and was loaded in Poland in the order required on site. Nothing touched the ground. The next lorry from Poland arrived within five minutes of the first leaving. The house was pressure tested on completion and lost only 2% leakage. I cannot understand why we tolerate building in silly brick sizes glued together with mortar and dependent on the 'training' and 'skill' of the labour. Everything was delivered and installed in an organised and managed way and I would be happy to discuss further if anyone is interested. Dan-Wood also took care of the planning for £600 which is remarkable. There is a 20 year structural warranty included as well. There is a prejudice against timber framed houses in the UK for reasons that escape me but these houses are factory made and everything fits, all rooms are square and exactly as the plan dimensions.
