Our client had completely renovated a small terraced Edwardian cottage and the last big challenge was the kitchen. She had knocked the tiny old kitchen and dining room into one large space and now she wanted a simple layout with an island and an understated look overall. There were to be no wall units to keep the room feeling spacious and the plan was to place a circular dining table in the corner of the room to balance the rectangular shapes of the units.
