Rotpunkt Lucido Stone High Gloss Lacquered Kitchen.
This kitchen project was for a couple local to our kitchen showroom in Hampshire. The brief was to design a very modern style kitchen in order to complement the open-plan extension they had recently completed. The customer wanted neutral colours that are quintessential to the modern German style; as such we used elements from the German built, Rotpunkt Kitchens.
The customer had already owned a Mercury range cooker that was going to be the main focus of the kitchen and to add a splash of colour to the neutral style they where after.
This particular kitchen was made by German kitchen manufacturers, Rotpunkt. The main style of the kitchen was from their Lucido range in their colour, Stone. The doors feature a high gloss lacquered finish in a handless design. A long uniform channel is used above the doors in order to open them, which creates a clean, unobtrusive look.
The worktops were a composite material from Caesarstone, in their colour, Oyster. The worktops where cut to a 20mm thickness to give a sleek look. The main feature of the kitchen is Mercury range cooker in a lovely shade of blue; this acts to break up the very pale theme of the kitchen to add a splash of colour. The sink and tap where from Franke, the tap being there SilkSteel Panto design and the sink was the Peak PKX 110 45. The extractor hood is an Elica Cube in a 90cm width. The Miele dishwasher and Fisher & Paykel fridge freezer are the customers own appliances.
