Bookmatched Walnut Kitchen with Integrated Walnut handle.
A client came to us wanting a very specific look for their kitchen. Walnut veneer was required and the project evolved to a book-matched finish which turned out stunningly.
Together with the client we designed a bespoke integrated handle in solid walnut with a routed groove on it's underside. This also had to work with adjoining units and door openings without fowling. We milled the handles to stop short of the edge of the door at extreme ends of the furniture runs. This became a little design details that carries though the kitchen to tie it all together.

To contrast the Dark walnut, the drawer-boxes for drawers and pan-drawers were constructed of Solid Maple. The cabinets were constructed in Birch Veneered plywood. On the wall units and the sink-run breakfront we included some birch paneling to break up the darkness of the walnut.
