Painted Oak Traditional Kitchen

Solid Oak Door painted in a cream with a distressed finish on the door allowing parts of the Oak to show through. Solid Oak dovetailed drawer boxes with softclose runners.
Solid Oak worktops with several layers a finishing oil to protect the surface compliments the furniture. Hand made chimney breast with oak beam set into the chimney.
The brief was to create a light and spacious room with a chimney feature at the end of the room. The room as you can see from the photos was quite narrow, but the lightness of the units did not over power the room.
At the other end we created a space for a small sofa next to the Dresser, the view form the sofa overlooked the garden and down into the valley beyond. A nice place to rest take your early morning tea & toast!
