“Whilst project co-ordinating a refurbishment, I recommended Tom's practice Wellstudio architecture to my interior design studio's clients, a young creative family who were interested in undertaking an extension on their four story East London townhouse during the full scale renovation of their property.
As the clients are lovers of art, we were keen to create a unique art led structure that was a little different, even unorthodox. The result was an origami inspired copper clad extension and garden canopy that's visual simplicity belies its technical complexity. This is where Tom really displayed his excellence as an architect, as he has both the artistic vision and collaborative character to flesh out conceptual forms that are genuinely original, but crucially, he also has the communication skills and technical rigour to bring it all to fruition with professionalism and diligence.

Obviously there were some set backs but the communication in between us (property owners) and The Market was excellent so problems were solved quickly. These guys are not here to screw you over. “A big thank you to you. We had approved plans but could not decide on some details so we asked OL and E to step in and help us with our bathroom renovation. They came to do site measurement as soon as they contacted us and gave their recommendations and quote. The renovation itself was done with no extra worry to us. They understood that we're living at the property so they made sure that connection of toilet and wash basin was in priority. Tiles are very well done, we're happy with results. We now have a nice renovated bathroom. Quick response to any of our questions as well - we asked for details and they gave them to us. Nice, clean builders.”
