Comments (27)Personally I guess I'd use the green tile on the window wall, so the sink and toilet will pop. And give the rest a fresh look (or a dramatic). Not sure how that would look with your vanity and lvt though.. If you're mixing, plan it well, since bathrooms are not an easy job you can do over if you're not satisfied.....See MoreFamily bathroom ideas needed - 2,4 m by 2.3 m
Comments (7)Hi Matt, I've come up with a couple of options for you. I played around with a small shower and a bath but it was getting quite crammed in there. I also took into consideration that you have a young family and that they will probably need more baths at this point in their lives than showers. Also considered that you would probably need space for them and you/their mum to get them in and out of the bath. The average size for a combined shower/bath is 1700mm x 850mm I've scaled the bath to this measurement to show you how much space the bath will take up. For option 1, you can place your bath tub in the corner against the wall, depends on where your window is (as I didn't have this information I guessed and created two options for you). You could then have a large space in the centre for getting around easily and a stool in the corner. The radiator will go on the left wall or wherever there is a gap in the wall. For option 2, again totally guessing that there could be a window in the wall opposite the door, I've moved around all the white goods, with still plenty of space in the centre. Either way there is tonnes of space to get a combined shower/bath along with everything else. Hope that helps, let me know if you have any questions? Comments (8)Wumi that would make total sense and free up more space. We wanted to avoid knocking bits of wall out and filling in bits if possible but am def keeping this in mind - thank you. IHI - the toilet is currently at the far end in the same place Wumi has in the second plan (the bath is currently in that same position too with the sink at the end of the bath.) At the moment the door opens onto the sink. We thought about having the door open outwards as out loo in our home at the moment does and its not an issue. I will have a look at pocket doors, ive not heard of them 😬. Thank you....See MoreBox room & bathroom ideas
Comments (1)You have a glorious amount of space! I was thinking the smaller room would make a great walk in - a full wall of cupboard space and room for a seat (close off the door and create an opening from the larger room) or dresser, an office, a spare room ... then realized you have these available by using other spaces! So I can only offer a craft room! Lol!!...See MoreUser
