This Chiswick Garden had been designed and implemented a number of years previously. The basic layout still worked, but the clients wanted more flexibility in the design for entertainment, relaxation and for the inclusion of a trampoline for their children. The planting too had become tired and was not to their taste.

The new design retained the basic flow of the garden, but also significantly updated it to provide better utility and an exciting new look. Improvements include better placed and paved pathways, a garden eco-house with cooking facilities and a new sun patio, a bespoke pergola, a spherical stone water feature focal point and a discreetly placed trampoline which does not disrupt the look or flow of the wider garden. The planting was completely redesigned with structural evergreen clipped shrubs and blocks of flowering perennials which deliver the clients love of Modrian style art within their own garden. The large central lawn is retained and still provides excellent play space for the children, but also a wonderful foil for the colourful new planting.
