A small back garden on the Isle of Dogs transformed into a gravel garden with heaps of character, atmosphere and naturalistic planting. The materials and layout of the garden hark back to the times when the Isle of Dogs was a key dockland area in the city. Now with its industrial past behind it, the garden is returning gently to nature with grasses and flowers slowly spreading out from the beds and across the gravel.
