A garden office for an illustrator and her home-working husband. The building contains a fitted desk for up to 3 people, a wc and a kitchenette. Externally it is cladded in untreated vertical cedar boards installed with shadow gaps and aluminium Velfac windows. The studio is a highly insulated timber frame construction which was fully detailed by the architects and built by a local carpenter.
