A garden designed for a modern barn conversion in the heart of rural Cheshire. Mixing old with new, the garden uses a mix of natural stone paving and a contemporary porcelain surface. Parasol trees and instant hedging provide enclosure to the spaces. A perfect summer terrace with parasol trees, Buxus hedges and bulbs. This garden had an intrusive footpath along one boundary between the garden and the lake beyond. The garden levels were increased and a timber retaining wall introduced, thereby sinking the footpath out of site and creating a large, more usable garden for our clients.
