18th Century Cotswold Manor House with Traditional Kitchen

An incredible 18th century Cotswold country manor house, lovingly restored in the style of its heritage with kitchen, pantry and utility rooms in separate adjacent spaces. The brief for the kitchen was to reflect the building with hand built cabinets using traditional materials. We added a small beaded moulding to the Oak frames and used plenty of exposed Oak which we darkened bringing out the natural tannins in the wood. The units were then hand painted using historical hand mixed paints from the Paper and Paints company. We completed the look, with a nod to the 21st century, with ultra modern concrete worktops and an Everhot electric range cooker.
