Cotswold Chapel Kitchen
Originally built as a private chapel to the adjacent country house and estate, this beautiful little dwelling in Painswick is these days a house in its own right. Divided into small spaces but with incredibly high ceilings and so much grand original character, the challenge here was to design a kitchen that accommodated a family of 6 whilst sitting proportionately in the room without overcrowding it. A heavy palette of colours and textures with Farrow & Ball Downpipe and Chapel Green paint blending beautifully with Slate, Limestone and plenty of exposed Oak result in a timeless kitchen that feels like stepping back 200 years to a simpler age.
