The Colourful Fun Shaker Kitchen

This Bristol Kitchen exudes fun and personality in so many ways, the classic Shaker cabinets and room furniture are brought to life by colour and the cool and playful decorative accessories match the creative lifestyles of the owners of this gorgeous Georgian townhouse. The two-tone painted cabinets in a gorgeous pale green and deep blue have contrasting handles making the colours really pop, with further contrast in the brightly painted coral and pink dining chairs.

The perimeter run of cabinets features a double, Belfast style, ceramic sink with a clever feature of the drainer area sitting in the space behind the sink which was the old fireplace. Double copper dish racks add to the overall design look while also providing lots of practical dish draining space. Floating oak shelves make the most of the alcove space, providing exposed storage for the client's collection of ornaments and cookbooks. Arenastone Quartz worktops in Bianco Nuvolo contrast against the dark blue cabinets.

The large central island, with an oiled oak worktop, holds the two ovens and induction hob and provides a large breakfast bar area on two sides. A large suspended ceiling extractor sits above the hob.

The dining area is zoned off from the kitchen space by a step-down and different flooring, creating a cosy eating and seating area with comfy grey armchairs looking out onto the garden through bifold doors.
