A fabulous project and an opportunity for us to show how a Shaker design can be pulled right into the 21st century with an ultra modern, grand design. A dishevelled 1920s bungalow originally held this elevated position right in the centre of Malmesbury with views across to the abbey. Most of the original structure remains hidden inside this now grand town house but from the outside it is unrecognisable. With an enormous atrium skylight above the centre island and large south facing windows, light is so prominent in this kitchen. We blended Oak with Marble and Welsh slate in perfect harmony creating a luxury modern family kitchen.
