This flat tiled roof was transformed into a stunning contemporary roof terrace. Decking running at a 45 degree angle created the impression of greater space. The bench seating and planters were all powder coated stainless steel to match, and the use of Cedar cladding on some of the walls seemed to increase the sense of floor space and provide warmth to the grey London skyline. A beautifully crafted curved bench cladded with with vertical sections of Iroko flowed effortlessly into a curved stainless steel water feature, cleverly placed to disguise the brick chimney breast.

A flat tiled roof was transformed into a stunning contemporary roof terrace with a graceful and sunny character. Beautifully curving structures and decking angled 45 degrees created the illusion of bigger space whilst the generous use of wood for the seating, decking and walls provided warmth against the grey London skyline. Powder-coated stainless steel for the bench seating and planters made an elegant contrast with the natural materials, as with the sensually curving bench cladded with vertical slats of iroko, which flowed beautifully into a curved stainless steel water feature (cleverly disguising the brick chimney breast).
