Planning Consent Obtained 18th July '22 for a Roof Terrace.

This roof terrace is to be shared by four flats. The reason the idea came to be, was because the rear garden is small and shady. The owners of the four flats wished for an outdoor sunny space they never had. Alterations carried out in the 1950’s added a two storey extension with a flat roof. This extension reduced the size of the rear garden considerably. A neighbouring large Beech tree with a TPO also cuts off the afternoon sunlight from the rear garden.

The terrace was originally proposed to encompass the whole of the 1950's flat roof but the Council opposed this. A smaller roof terrace was proposed and the Council accepted with conditions. The overlooking neighbouring properties
