Work is progressing beautifully on our woodland barn project in Gloucester, designed as a prefabricated structure that sits quietly and respectfully within its natural surroundings. The aim has always been to create a home that feels truly of the landscape — harmonious with the woodland setting and crafted with materials that deepen that connection. We’re using charred larch cladding for its rich texture and durability, allowing the building to blend naturally into its environment. Inside, the design features a sunken living room, creating a warm, intimate space that opens out toward the trees and captures the atmosphere of woodland living. We’re excited to see this unique project take shape as nature and architecture come together.
