We’re delighted to share that planning and building regulations approval have been successfully secured for a lovely couple in Dudley — and their many dogs! The clients wanted to create a more open and connected home, so we designed a rear extension featuring a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area, along with a dormer loft conversion to add valuable extra space. One of the main challenges during the design process was balancing the council’s requirement for materials to match the neighbouring property with the clients’ preference for a crisp white render finish. Through careful coordination and design refinement, we achieved a solution that satisfies planning policy while delivering the modern, light-filled home our clients envisioned.
