2 Bedroom Period Flat in Finsbury - Mindy

The flat needed general updating and cosmetic redecoration to suit the style of the two young professionals living there. We injected some character back into the period property with new traditional style joinery and beautiful fireplaces with working gas fires.

Black with exposed steel detailing was used as a statement piece for this fireplace finish, with the white painted hearth popping nicely against the black and the pastel green wall behind it

Living Room Fireplace

Traditional moulding was used in the bay window shutters, with bright white paint used to freshen and make them pop against the green of the walls. Greens and blues used throughout the floors, walls and fabric of the blind bring a calming tone to the living room.

The use of greens and timber in the frame bring an organic tone to the space, making it calming and welcoming. The feature chandelier pops nicely against the fairly refined space, adding a touch of luxe

Bright pops of colour are used in the bedspread in this bedroom, tying in nicely with the blue the feature wall. Bespoke joinery is placed either side of the bed to provide ample storage, with the moulding of the doors bringing an additional traditional touch to the space

Master Bedroom

Blues and pastel yellow adds some colour to this bedroom without being overwhelming, being in muted tones to make the space a calming one

A busy green bedspread is used as a feature in this bedroom, tying in nicely with the blues and greens used in the roman blind, with the beautiful design of the fabric making it a lovely focal piece.
