Renovation of a 2 Bed Maisonette in a Georgian Terrace - Lawrence

The client purchased an architecturally wonderful yet unloved 2 bed maisonette in Barnsbury. We used beautiful minimal and stylish fixtures + fittings and focused on areas the client wanted to perfect whilst suggesting appropriate cost-effective improvements for areas less important to the clients' needs.

This lovely compact bathroom was in keeping with the history and style of the renovation; period features are the stylistic tiles and fixtures, but the colours are muted, light and almost Scandinavian to appeal to a wider audience.

The joinery was stripped, repaired and painted and the walls skimmed to make flat; ready for painting. The floor was carpeted with a bleed either side of the steps to emphasise the wonderful joinery and stairway features.

The Hallway and bedroom flooring was stripped and re-treated, creating a wonderful period feature in the hallway. The Window provides lovely natural light which is reflected in the pale colours of the hallway.

This beautiful original fireplace was hidden behind a wall and a cupboard. Upon beginning the renovation it was discovered, restored and quickly became a huge selling point of the property.
