6 Bed Semi-detached Period House - Jasmine

The clients purchased this large house and needed work to start straight away to fix various problems - roof, drainage, floor slab, chimney flue relining and redecoration throughout including 5 bathrooms. The work was largely complete in 3 months for the clients to move in whilst the rest was completed.

Ensuite bathroom; this was previously a small walk in wardrobe however the space was better used as a bright and beutifully styled ensuite. We made the most of the space by using a curved enclosure, a bespoke vanity for storage and a slim but tall heated towel rail.

Finished Family bathroom with traditional encaustic floor tiles and white metro wall tiles. The bath was fitted with a folding panel and pull out handheld shower; useful with young children. The vanity was bespoke made.

Finished family bathroom. The window was extremely low and the space very long and narrow making the layout impossible. We suggested a built up low wall in front of the window which also housed the concealed cistern- to ensure the window is safe for young children. It can still be fully opened...

Childrens bedroom; the wardrobes were bespoke designed and built to fit either side of the chimney breast. The fireplace was opened up but in bad repair so we re-purposed the space as a little childrens library by closing off at the top (to stop draughts) and adding shelves.

Before and After- Hallway. We painted all the joinery white to get more light into the space and added a lovely geometric patterned carpet.

When the house was bought, the old tenants left an old trampoline. We sourced and fitted a new cover, net and pole covers; giving the trampoline a new lease of life.

Finished Lounge; all walls, floor, ceiling and joinery were painted. The fireplace was restored and a new wood burning stove fitted; chandelier is original.

Before and After- Main bedroom. The main bedroom was filled with fitted storage and joinery which the clients didn't need- we stripped back and opened up the fireplace- installing a new wood burning stove. New bespoke roman blinds were installed and the old chandelier cleaned and restored.
