“We employed Christine Peever to provide us with architectural services to renovate a 4 storey property dating back to 1912. The property was in a very poor state and we had no experience of such a project. Christine was an excellent listener to our needs and I felt she understood our strengths and weaknesses as her clients and adapted herself to us both as individuals to create our vision. Her note taking was faultless and she carried out all changes with exactness and efficiency, of which there were many! We also have to thank her for her endless patience during the decision making processes. She pushed us hard to make as many decisions as possible before going out to tender and this has inevitably assisted us with keeping our budget under control. We look forward to welcoming her back to the property shortly so that she can see what she helped us to create.”

“Yihyi has helped our family on a couple of occasions, and both have gone so well that we intend to get her involved in a third project. We can't recommend her highly enough. She helped my brother turn a two bed one bath flat into a three bed two bath flat, creating a great family home from a small space, with flair and care - but without a huge budget. A couple of years later, she has helped me update my loft space and create a living and sleeping space that we absolutely love, and also reworked my bathroom, shower room and small toilet - all of which I love. If you get the chance to hire her - do it!”

“Kevin found a practical way to fit in all the spaces we wanted, so our house functions perfectly for our family. He provided 2 very different design options so we could asses the costs involved. Even though we opted for separate rooms rather than too many knock throughs, there is still a feeling of space throughout the whole house because of the way the spaces flow into each other. The bathrooms are an appropriate size adding a feeling of luxury, the utility provides the ideal place to fit a salon chair for me to work from home, and we have the perfect alcove to store our coats and shoes without cluttering up the hallway. Kevin also had some experience and understanding of the planning process in my area, making the design process stress free.”

“Alessandra supported us with our kitchen renovation. She spent with us half day at Magnet to design our kitchen, select the materials and the colours. She was very careful and detailed oriented to make sure the kitchen we were getting was exactly what we needed/wished for. Important to note that Alessandra is open find solution for what you need/wish for (different from other architects who wants to put their mark and leave their “stamp” in their designs). She did delivered not a kitchen, but what we called a master piece of art - her careful selection of colour and materials + solutions to corners and panels at the top/at the bottom to hide electrics paid off having her in that work. Everyone who comes to our house or lastly who sees our kitchen from Zoom/Skype or Team spots how beautiful it is (not only beautiful, but for us who uses the kitchen it is entirely functional, easy to clean and all sorted). Thank you Alessandra - you made us very happy and ensured lockdown could be easily managed with our new lovely and super functional (easy to clean) kitchen! Before Alessandra - red kitchen. After Alessandra - the modern, atemporal grey/blue kitchen (please see pictures).”

“Danny at DS Designs was absolutely excellent throughout the project. They helped us transform our semi detached home with a rear extension. Throughout the project Danny was extremely attentive, always available to discuss and would always take time with us. His eye for detail and fantastic talent were the reasons we chose DS Designs and we were so thankful we did. Throughout the project they were extremely practical and made sure every decision was for our benefit. They were amazing at helping us with the project and highlight things that would be important for us as a family. We cannot recommended DS Design highly enough. “I hired Detailed-Planning to produce plans for an extension involving creating a kitchen diner and a larger bedroom. From the beginning they were very professional and had very good ideas to compliment my own ideas. They took care of all the legalities and recommended builders etc. I was taken to see a previous project which is very unusual but extremely helpful. They have been exemplary in answering any questions and even met with my neighbours addressing their concerns and allaying any fears they had. The company have visited on a number of occasions to check on progress and took photographs on a regular basis. I have recommended them to others as I found their attitude to be very professional but also very human!”

“Our conservatory included a kitchen, dining room/lounge with no doors & a plastic roof so we were very cold in the winter. We contacted Building Tectonics who transformed our uncomfortable space into a very light garden room by taking the walls down between the kitchen & dining room/lounge & adding a proper roof. We now enjoy cooking, eating & relaxing in a great open space”
