Bâtiment des années 30, cet ancien hôpital de jour transformé en habitation avait besoin d'être remis au goût de ses nouveaux propriétaires. Les couleurs passent d'une pièce à une autre, et nous accompagnent dans la maison. L'artiste Resco à su mélanger ces différentes couleurs pour les rassembler dans ce grand escalier en chêne illuminé par une verrière. Les sérigraphies, source d'inspiration dès le départ de la conception, se marient avec les couleurs choisies. Des meubles sur-mesure structurent et renforcent l'originalité de chaque espace, en mélangeant couleur, bois clair et carrelage carré. Avec les rendus 3D, le but du projet était de pouvoir visualiser les différentes solutions envisageable pour rendre plus chaleureux le salon, qui était tout blanc. De plus, il fallait ici réfléchir sur une restructuration de la bibliothèque / meuble TV.

La bibliothèque s’étire le long du mur, offrant un refuge aux amateurs de vinyles. Le chêne texturé situé dans le fond des niches apporte de la profondeur et élargit le séjour baigné de lumière naturelle.

Custom joinery was designed and installed in the living spaces of this modern 4 bedroom residence, to maximise its private outdoor spaces to the front and rear of the house and provide a private open space for indoor/outdoor living.

This comprehensive architecture and interior refurbishment project transforms a generous period property in Roundhay, Leeds, into a light-filled, open-plan family home. Formerly divided into a series of small, dark cellular rooms with little connection to the rear garden, the property lacked functional circulation. By pairing sympathetic interior architecture with contemporary space planning, the design opens up the home’s layout, establishes a social heart, and introduces natural light deep into the interior while retaining key heritage features.

This open-plan living and dining area balances functionality with a vertical timber slat screen that subtly divides the space. Soft neutral tones dominate the bouclé sofa, textured rug, and floor to ceiling curtains. Natural Blackbutt flooring and indoor plants introduce organic warmth, creating a cohesive design aesthetic.

Traditional plasterwork handmade and installed by Stevensons of Norwich. The plaster work was designed and modelled in house prior to manufacture. In this room we have Stevensons cornice, ceiling floral enrichment and panelling.

The ground floor of the property has been opened-up as far as possible so as to maximise the illusion of space and daylight. The two original reception rooms have been combined to form a single, grand living room with a central large opening leading to the entrance hall. Victorian-style plaster cornices and ceiling roses, painted timber sash windows with folding shutters, painted timber architraves and moulded skirtings, and a new limestone fire surround have been installed in keeping with the period of the house.
