CLASSIC PITCHED-TO-HIP ROOF IN TOOTING
A beautiful classic pitched to hip roof kitchen extension in Tooting. The rear part of the extension was built out far enough to accommodate not only skylights down the side return but also at the rear providing more even natural light throughout the space. The exposed painted brick wall offers a clever contrast and breaks up the smooth perfect finishing with the rough texturing. The garden was lowered to create a flush patio allowing this wonderful kitchen, living and dining space to be enjoyed fluently with the garden.
