We demolished the existing conservatory on this terraced property in Strawberry Hill, then leveled the ground and extended out to existing conservatory footprint, creating a stunning multi functional family space with triple pitched crown roof vaulting the internal ceiling. Previously the whole ground floor was open planned, everything all together. We changed the configuration around to allow a transformation of the kitchen into a rectangular, bright, open space enjoying direct natural light from the large roof lights; it has much more atmosphere as a result of the glazing across the back wall, connecting it to the garden where the floor runs from inside to out. We also achieved a separate room at the front of the house that work really well with family life.
