This pitched to hip roof design has a glass valley to maximise light in the back room. Access has been removed from the rear reception into the kitchen allowing the rear reception more opportunity to work as a room in its own right, whilst providing additional storage in the kitchen and allowing more space for the dining table. Removal of the chimney breast affords more flexibility with the kitchen design; a downstairs cloakroom was also created and cleverly integrated into the space by extending the hallway.
