The beautiful thing about a crown roof design is that there are three different slopes that meet into one central flat roof section. This gives you the opportunity to put skylights in different angles flooding the room more evenly with natural light. Internally the angles help to create a more interesting focal point and atmosphere, but mainly the height creates a feeling of more space - all other rooms on the house have a lower flat ceiling and it is fitting that the main entertaining / used room in the house has this unique shape.
