Embarking on a transformative overhaul, the current rear extension demolished and we retained the essential floor structure and the party wall for structural continuity. The redesign included a bold extension plan that stretches both into the side return and towards the rear, forming an encompassing wraparound extension. The brick side cheek was elevated to accommodate a full-width glass slope, seamlessly blending the interior with the outdoors. A significant shift in spatial dynamics involves the removal of the brick boundary wall, fostering a more open and connected environment. Additionally, the rear section of the kitchen floor was raised to align with the remaining floor area, ensuring a level transition throughout the space. An intriguing feature of a distinctive interior swing was added, injecting a playful element into the living space.
