A brand new Kitchen and a stylish Moduleo floor in Impington




The project


Having been at their home in Impington for many years since it was a new build it was time for a lovely new kitchen and of course, a new floor!

Our Customer chose a Moduleo Transform Hoover Stone 46916 Luxury Vinyl Tile.


Coordinating

The family were having a new kitchen fitted and so this included new floors to give it that final polished look! We coordinated with the kitchen fitters to ensure everything could happen in the order it should and that things ran smoothly.

Making a mess and making good



This job required removal of a tile floor and for the sub floor to be made good before we could fit the new floor so we did this the work in two stages.

Stage 1 was to lift old tiles and lay smoothing compound.

Stage 2 was to fit the new floor.

When a floor is fitted the quality of the sub floor is paramount. You can’t lay a new floor on a poor base as it compromises the integrity of the new floor.

So after removing the old tiles the sub floor had to be prepped, and only then could we lay the new floor.
