Engineered Oak Flooring in a Cambridge City Home

Engineered Oak Flooring

What is it?

Engineered Oak is an incredibly popular form of wood flooring and although slightly differently to solid wood flooring as it is made with layers, it looks just like solid wood which is one of the reasons it is so popular.

Why else might you buy engineered wood?

It is extremely hardwearing and versatile and looks great in any age house. Engineered woods can be compatible with any room in the house from living room, to kitchen to hallway and bedroom. They can also be accessorised by rugs which can be swapped around seasonally to change the look in your home.

Panaget Engineered Wood Flooring in a Cambridge home

One particularly popular brand is Panaget, a leading manufacturer of wood flooring.

We installed this lovely Panaget French oak plank (FRENCH OAK ZENITUDE RAFIA DIVA 184) in the Kitchen and the Living area of this Cambridge Victorian home.

The Rafia colours and tones are a calming blend of greys, beiges and browns and because the wood has been oiled it highlights the unique features and peculiarities in the planks. You can see from the pictures that throughout the day the flooring in the rooms looks different and changes in colour according to the light during the day.

Its decorative uses are limited only by your imagination!

Our client is delighted with the final result!

Could this be something worth considering for your home?
