Flatweave Carpet Runner and Trust Range Wood Flooring in Balsham, Cambridge

Flatweave Carpet Runner and Trust Range Wood Flooring in Balsham, Cambridge

The Project

This job was a completely blank canvas as it was at a new build home in Balsham, Cambridge.

Our customer chose 2 stunning products to bring their home to life.

What needed doing?

This project was an installation in a new build. There was no existing flooring to remove and no structures to reinforce, so it was a lovely straightforward job.

Our customers visited the showroom where they viewed a range of excellent high quality flooring. They trusted our judgement on quality and style and took the decision to opt for this lovely Off The Loom Carpet Runner for the stairs and a Trust Range Engineered Oak Wood Flooring on the ground and first floor.

Then we had the pleasure of installing it for them.

What is Off the Loom?

Off the Loom is a company Specialising in Carpet Runners which can be used either as Rugs or as demonstrated here, as a stair runner.

Why choose Off the Loom?

Off the Loom Carpet Runners are hard wearing so great for places like stairs where traffic is heaving and they also offer an element of soundproofing and insulation in a busy area.

Our client chose an Off the Loom Felton Flatweave Carpet which is made with 3 ply 100% New Zealand Wool and laid it over white painted stairs.

They are a very cool carpet alternative, adding a certain je ne sais quoi to your staircase, and will sit well in a traditional or more modern setting.

What is it teamed with here?

Our client teamed their Carpet Runner with an engineered Oak Trust Wood Flooring which offers a modern look.

Why choose Trust Oak?

Oak is hard wearing and easy to clean so perfect for a high traffic hallway. It compliments the carpet runner beautifully giving the entrance to this home a look to be envied.

Trust wood is flooring is made by the National Trust, and so sustainability is at the heart of these products. We have teamed with them and offer customers Family National Trust Memberships as a gift when they choose Trust products.

An environmentally friendly option

They use “timber from well-managed forests, only the best and oldest wood is selected, allowing younger trees to prosper for future use."

To sum up

There are no rules that say you have to have just wood, or you just have to have carpet so to mix and match gives you the chance to try out some fabulous combinations as demonstrated in this home here.
