Engineered Oak Flooring Installation in Waterbeach, Cambridge
Moving into a newly built home has an extraordinary feeling connected to it. Over the years, we have helped many homeowners that moved into new builds to leave their mark and make the new house their new home.
Making your House your Home
We are delighted to add yet another happy client to the list of projects like this. Rob John contacted Art of Flooring as the floors in his new home did not meet his full expectations. Moving into a home, knowing everything is just the way you want it is a great place to start, and that is where we fit in.
At first glance, you can see it is a lovely home finished to a high standard. The floors, however, did not fully meet those standards.
To allow for an open and spacious look, we worked on flowing the flooring throughout the home as one piece as far as possible, in order to offer a grand feel to the kitchen and lounge areas. The wood floors upstairs complemented a slight lean towards a minimalistic look and feel.
Ease of cleaning and maintenance comes as an added benefit when choosing a quality wood floor and this became apparent when a can of paint tipped over on to the wood floors the day after they were installed. Moments after the can of paint hit the floor, panic set in. To restore calm, the new wood floor was cleaned using only a clean, damp cloth. Rob and his wife were amazed by how easy it was to achieve such good results.
Here at Art of Flooring, we always fit skirting boards over the edge of the wooden floors that we install. Removing existing skirting boards, installing the flooring and then re-instating the skirting boards gives a much more 'finished' look and adds higher value to your home. There are many options on how to finish a staircase and what flooring will work best.
We believe in adding value to every client we work with by discussing all the options available to identify the best solution for them.
Achieving a win-win solution is what drives us here at Art of Flooring. It means we strive to get a win for every client we work with by carefully analysing all the facts and understanding the needs and requirements of every project we take on.
The by-product of this level of service is the rewards we receive, including exceptionally loyal and happy clients who see the value in paying more for a premium product and the service that supports it.
We pride ourselves in the fact that we know we offer a premium service using premium products, and that our fitters work to very high standards.
As you can imagine, providing premium quality products and a very high standard in support does not come cheap.
