New Karndean LVT for a kitchen in Cambourne

New Karndean Flooring for a revamped Kitchen in Cambourne

You want stone, but you don’t actually want stone?

Is there even a way to do that?

Of course there is...

This Stunning Karndean LVT Stone Effect Tile with custom border and inlay in Cambourne shows you how.

The project

Our client in Cambourne was having a new kitchen and with every new kitchen comes a new floor.

They wanted a stone look but didn’t want actual stone.

Art of Flooring were able to advise them on the use of a Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) called Karndean, a product many of you will have already heard of.

What is LVT?

LVT is a man made tile made from layers of Vinyl pressed together bringing with it a whole host of benefits and different finishes.

Benefits

It is water resistant (perfect for kitchens), stain resistant (again, perfect for kitchens), and it is easy to clean (also perfect for kitchens).
As well as this it offers warmth, comfort, and wears well in high traffic areas.

What LVT did our customer choose?

In this Cambourne install we fitted a Karndean LVT Stone Effect Tile with a custom border and inlay.

Benefits of LVT, the look of stone

Karndean’s stone effect tiles have all aesthetic pros of stone. They are effortlessly stylish and offer a natural stone look to your home BUT without the downsides of stone (namely stone is cold and hard).

And what is more, you get all the practical benefits of an LVT (remember water resistant, stain resistant, cleanability, hard wearing, warm and comfortable under foot)

Details, details

Our customer also had a custom border and inlay fitted around the edges. This adds the perfect finishing touch with stylish definition and crisp straight lines to the floor. It’s all in the detail.

What our client said

“Excellent service from start to finish, very professional and a great product. The fitters were extremely thorough and very precise. A real WOW factor.”

Well, WOW, we are delighted to have been able to support them with this project!
